To Scott

Description: Sorting through feelings of confusion & love for Scott..feeling as though I will never stop loving him...

There's a chill in my bones

As I walk through the day

All the words we have spoken

All the things we had to say

And I love you like there's no ending

Even though I know life gets in the way

And I love you like there's no tomorrow

Even though the still of night always chases the day

I care about you more than ever

Though the words get in the way

And part of me will always love you

Will always be there with you, to stay

And even though I know not where I'm going

I always want to see you there

And if I look inside to find you

I know you're no further away than thin air

You are as much a part of me

As the sky, the earth, as time itself

Sometimes I wish the world would stop moving

So I could hold you again in stealth

I know that things change, people change,

Somehow that doesn't seem to matter

It doesn't change the way I feel

It cannot break, bend, or shatter

Even though now you're not here with me

And I wonder what to say

I know that what's true now

Is what will always be true to stay

And I know I'll always love you

Even if you're not with me today

And I know that I will always need you

Even though the words get in the way...

Jaded Poet, Lonely in Company
. . . and a pen rests by the chalice, pull up a chair by this, the fire, drink long, the ink and wine are able, the script leaps from hand, into the pyre,
. . . yes, the bottle is half full, pull the cork and pour another, hide your eyes deep in the swallow, and we'll burn this script together,
. . . damn the feather, pour the ink, and let the ruin stain those lips, I beg and hope to share this hour, but those hands of yours, will never leave your hips.
